Method of Teaching

The first and foremost duty and responsibility of an educational institution is to make its pupils go through a series of learning pedagogies and procedures namely a set of principles and methods given by teachers.  Jajira Cantonment Public School and College (JCPSC) has its distinct teaching strategy by which the teachers are providing the pupils with all sorts of effective educational means. The teaching method of JCPSC has been set up by amalgamating different kinds of features from some prominent teaching strategies. In this method, both teachers and students take part in all sorts of class activities and lessons. Actually, the focus is mostly on the learners, and the steps are taken to make them stay independent so that they can solve problems, answer questions, formulate questions of their own, discuss in pairs, explain, debate, or brainstorm during class under the direction of the teachers. It also includes a great deal of visual representations of concrete objects so that the students can be able to make a mental connection between the physical and the abstract pictures, diagrams or models etc. Besides, it focuses on speaking and listening competence stressing repetition and habit formation to be affiliated with the unfamiliar things and memorize those things easily. It also focuses on communicative English so that the students can keep pace with this competitive world. As a part of the teaching pedagogy, JCPSC offers its pupils a series of tools of extra-curricular activities by which they can remove their monotony, get mental and physical refreshment, be in touch of cultural issues, be disciplined and endure their diligence in study. All of the members of JCPSC are determined to ensure the mental, ethical and social development of the students.
